Beaumont Narcotics Raid Leads to Drug, Firearm Seizures and Arrests

BEAUMONT, Texas — A multi-agency narcotics operation in Beaumont resulted in the seizure of suspected drugs and firearms and the arrest of two individuals, according to the Beaumont Police Department.
Authorities said detectives with the department’s Narcotics Unit, working as part of the SETX Violent Crime Task Force, executed simultaneous search warrants on May 14, 2026, at homes in the 5600 block of Mel Sha Lane and the 2600 block of Emile Street.
The operation included assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Narcotics investigators, Beaumont police SWAT officers, hostage negotiators, patrol officers, and the department’s Special Assignment Unit.

Investigators said the operation centered on allegations that 32-year-old Timothy Singleton of Beaumont was trafficking narcotics from the Emile Street residence.
Following the execution of the warrants, detectives recovered a large quantity of suspected narcotics, firearms, and other evidence consistent with narcotics trafficking activities, authorities said.
During the operation, officers arrested 55-year-old John Semien at the Emile Street location.
Singleton was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, while Semien was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both men were booked into jail on their respective charges.
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and additional information could be released later.
