Mother, Daughter Arrested After Pepper Spray Assault at Spring Walmart

SPRING, Texas — Two women were arrested after deputies said a man was assaulted with pepper spray and a wooden bat during a disturbance at a Walmart in Spring.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, deputies with Constable Mark Herman responded May 14, 2026, to the Walmart in the 21100 block of Kuykendahl Road regarding an in-progress disturbance.
During the investigation, deputies learned the complainant had allegedly been assaulted by two women identified as 36-year-old Shaquan Reece and 18-year-old Dejari Reece, who are mother and daughter.
Authorities said the suspects allegedly pepper sprayed the victim and struck him with a small wooden bat.
Deputies quickly located both suspects and took them into custody without incident.
Shaquan Reece and Dejari Reece were both booked into the Harris County Jail on assault charges.
Officials said bond for each suspect was set at $100 by County Court 2.
