Woman Arrested for Trespassing After Mistakenly Targeting Residence in Search of Boyfriend
In the early hours of Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Cameron County Sheriff Deputies rushed to a residence in Los Fresnos, Texas, in response to reports of an unwanted individual. Upon reaching the scene around 01:30hrs, deputies encountered a distressed 32-year-old man who claimed a woman, later identified as 21-year-old Brenda Nathalie Ramirez, had been vigorously knocking on his door.
The man explained that upon opening the door, Ramirez insisted she was searching for her boyfriend and attempted to barge into the residence forcibly. Sheriff Deputies then engaged with Ramirez, who admitted to tracking her boyfriend’s whereabouts using a mobile phone application and mistakenly believed he was inside the property. However, the deputies noticed that the victim’s residence was fenced and prominently displayed signs warning against trespassing.
Following the incident, the victim expressed a desire to press charges against Ramirez. Consequently, the Sheriff Deputies took Ramirez into custody and transported her to the Carrizales Rucker Detention Center, where she awaits arraignment.
Ms. Brenda Nathalie Ramirez faces charges of Criminal Trespass TPC 30.05, categorized as a Class B Misdemeanor, in connection to the event.
