The Beaumont Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated robbery that took place on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:55 PM. The incident occurred at Speedway, located at 2795 Eastex Freeway.

According to authorities, a white male in his 50s entered the establishment and proceeded to rob the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect swiftly fled the scene in a newer model black or dark gray Dodge van, with license plates deliberately covered.
