Suspect Arrested in Aggravated Robbery at Beaumont Speedway Gas Station

The individual suspected of committing an aggravated robbery at Speedway Gas Station has been apprehended by Beaumont midnight officers at the Budget Inn, located at 5375 College Street.

The suspect, identified as Tarrell Donald Nowlin, a 51-year-old resident of Nederland, was found in connection with the robbery that took place at 2795 Eastex Freeway (Speedway).

Evidence linking Nowlin to the aggravated robbery was discovered by officers during the investigation. He was subsequently transported to the Beaumont Police Department for an interview.

Additionally, the vehicle believed to have been involved in the Speedway Gas Station robbery is also connected to another aggravated robbery that occurred at 1625 W. Cardinal Drive on January 13, 2024.

Further investigations revealed that Nowlin is alleged to have carjacked a vehicle in Nederland on January 16, 2024, around noon.

Nowlin has been transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and booked in for the aggravated robbery at 2795 Eastex Freeway. Charges related to the other crimes are pending as the investigation continues.
