Beaumont Police Execute Successful Narcotics Raid, Arrest Suspect on Drug Trafficking Charges

On January 5, 2024, at 5 am, detectives from the Beaumont Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, accompanied by SWAT, the Special Assignment Unit, and K-9, carried out a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of Victoria. The warrant was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into alleged narcotics distribution from the targeted residence.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives apprehended 43-year-old Beaumont resident Anthony Carrizales, the identified suspect in the ongoing investigation. A thorough search of the premises revealed substantial evidence of narcotics trafficking, including a significant quantity of suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, suspected fentanyl, and a reported stolen handgun.

Further investigation determined Carrizales to be a convicted felon. Subsequently, he was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where he was booked on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1B (suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
