Beaumont Man Dead After Being Attacked with Baseball Bat

On May 30, 2024, at 6:00 PM, officers responded to a disturbance at 930 Calder Ave in Beaumont involving a baseball bat. The victim sustained multiple blows to the head and was later pronounced dead at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. The victim, identified as Dorsey Sias, 66, from Beaumont, was initially in stable condition but succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators are seeking Darrin White, a 56-year-old Beaumont man, as a person of interest. White was last seen on May 30th at around 6:30 PM in the 5500 block of Concord. He is also wanted for an unrelated Parole Violation for Aggravated Robbery and has City of Beaumont warrants.
