League City Police Conducting Death Investigation After Woman Found Deceased at Marina

League City Police Officers are currently conducting a death investigation in the 700 block of Davis Rd. The League City Police Department was notified around 1:48 p.m. about a woman hanging off a dock at a marina in the mentioned area. Callers reported that the woman seemed lifeless, hanging by a rope from the dock. Upon arrival, officers and League City Fire Department personnel confirmed the woman’s death.

Officers and detectives engaged in the investigation have been speaking with the victim’s friends and residents in the vicinity. A man, potentially the victim’s boyfriend, exhibited distress and initially refused to leave his boat. After some time, officers successfully persuaded him to disembark safely.
