Houston Business Owner Arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor

On Friday morning, May 31st, PCT 1 Constable Alan Rosen’s investigators, working in the Internet Crimes Against Children’s Unit (ICAC), arrested Eduardo Ramirez-Lepe, age 31, for Online Solicitation of a Minor-2nd Degree Felony.

Ramirez-Lepe arrived at a predetermined meet location in Houston to meet with whom he believed to be a female minor to engage in sex acts. The minor turned out to be an undercover officer whom Lepe met on an undisclosed social media application.

During the online communications, Ramirez-Lepe made plans to meet with the minor and take her to a hotel where they would engage in sex acts.

At the time of arrest, Ramirez-Lepe told investigators that he works for Denney’s Restaurant in Houston. Records with the Harris County Clerk’s Office-DBA reflect Eduardo Ramirez-Lepe is co-owner of Collection Affection, a business in Houston that buys, sells, and trades Anime and hobby collectibles such as Pokeman, Funko Pops and other items.

When Ramirez-Lepe arrived to meet with the minor, he was in possession of flowers, condoms and a loaded handgun. He has been booked into the Harris County Jail and does not have a bond set at this time.
