Beaumont Man Arrested After SWAT-Assisted Drug Raid Uncovers Narcotics and Firearms

BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont man was arrested Thursday after a narcotics investigation led to the seizure of suspected drugs and firearms during the execution of a search warrant, according to the Beaumont Police Department.

At approximately 10 a.m. on June 11, 2026, detectives with the Beaumont Police Department Narcotics Division, working as part of the Southeast Texas Violent Crime Task Force, conducted an operational briefing before serving a search warrant at a residence in the 4000 block of Harding Drive.

Following the briefing, members of the Beaumont Police Department SWAT Team executed the warrant and safely detained 33-year-old Clinton Bridges.

During the search of the residence, investigators located suspected narcotics, an AR-style pistol and an AK-style pistol. Detectives also recovered additional evidence from Bridges’ vehicle.

Bridges was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.

He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Police said the investigation involved cooperation between multiple law enforcement units as part of ongoing efforts to combat narcotics trafficking and violent crime in the region.

The Beaumont Police Department stated that officers remain committed to improving public safety through proactive enforcement and collaborative investigations.
