Man Shot During Confrontation Between Parents Over Juvenile Relationship in Hockley

Deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an aggravated assault call on March 17, 2025, in the 24400 block of Osprey Point Drive in Hockley, where two men had reportedly been fighting on the street and shots were fired.

Upon arrival, deputies located a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Luther Madison II, was detained at the scene.

The victim reported that he and his wife had come to the location to speak with the parents of their juvenile daughter’s boyfriend, requesting their help in keeping the boy away from their daughter, whom they felt was too young to date.

During the encounter, a verbal and physical altercation occurred. The suspect’s wife, 38-year-old Madison Angelica, reportedly had a gun in her pocket, which was given to the suspect during the fight. Luther Madison II then fired the weapon multiple times, striking the victim in the chest and causing serious injury. He also reportedly pointed the weapon at the victim’s wife and threatened her.

Luther Madison II was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $100,000. Madison Angelica was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $25,000. Both were booked into the Harris County Jail.
