Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Arrests 16 in Proactive Operation Against Solicitation and Promotion of Prostitution

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies successfully apprehended 16 suspects in a recent operation targeting Solicitation and Promotion of Prostitution. The operation, conducted on December 11 and 12, 2023, involved collaboration between Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office investigators and officers from the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance (HTRA).

The joint effort aimed to address the demand for victimized sex workers by identifying and arresting individuals engaging in solicitation. The proactive undercover buyer operation unfolded at a predetermined location in Missouri City, Fort Bend County, Texas. Taskforce members posed as prostitutes and posted advertisements on websites commonly associated with prostitution. Suspects who solicited sex acts for money were subsequently apprehended at the designated meeting location.

The 15 individuals arrested for Solicitation of Prostitution are Jameel Aburamadan (20), Devin Roy (38), Lance Parnell (54), Matthew Wray (33), Donovan Bankett (29), Troy Flanagan (35), Shahzaib Ali (25), Alexis Garcia-Almaraz (27), Samuel Omolade (31), Omer Karar (33), Edward Pickett (50), Parker Moss (27), Errol Lindo (60), Steven Haley (30), and James Shillingburg (43). In addition, Prince Williams (31) faces charges for Promotion of Prostitution.

“These illicit actions not only undermine the safety and well-being of our residents, but also contribute to a range of social issues,” said Sheriff Eric Fagan. “We are committed to enforcing the law vigorously to ensure a secure environment for everyone in our community.”
