Arrest Made in Kris Food Mart Robbery Homicide: Beaumont Police Apprehend Suspect 3 Hours After Fatal Shooting

Beaumont Police Officers have arrested 19-year-old Keandre Robinson in connection with the fatal shooting of clerk Sheikh Abir-Hossain during an Aggravated Robbery at Kris Food Mart (3090 Gulf). The arrest occurred just three hours after the incident, thanks to multiple Crime Stoppers tips and ongoing investigative efforts.

Working off the information received, officers located and arrested Robinson in the 1600 block of Delaware. Judge Doyle subsequently issued a Murder warrant with an $800,000 bond.

The person of interest, also identified in the case, cooperated with detectives and was subsequently released.

The victim, Sheikh Abir-Hossain, a 34-year-old Beaumont resident, lost his life in the tragic incident.

Detectives are actively searching for a second suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing. UPDATE JAN 2, 2024: The suspect (believed to have been wearing the black hoodie with the word “NERD” on it) has been identified as Larry Nathaniel Hagan, a 26 year old, Needville, Texas resident who has ties to Beaumont. A murder warrant was issued by Judge Doyle and bond was set at $1,000,000.
