Teenager Killed in Conroe Shooting; Three Arrested

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 11900 block of Douget Road in Conroe early Saturday morning.
At approximately 1:00 AM on May 3rd, deputies responded to a call reporting a shooting and discovered a 14-year-old male victim lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by deputies, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators, along with personnel from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, launched an investigation. Their initial findings led to the identification of a 15-year-old male suspect from Conroe.
An arrest warrant was obtained for the juvenile suspect, and a search warrant was secured for his residence. With the assistance of the MCSO SWAT Team and Patrol Division deputies, both warrants were executed. The search of the residence resulted in the identification of two additional suspects: 19-year-old James Fuller and 19-year-old Mason Goodwin, both residents of Conroe.
The 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center, where he was charged with murder. James Fuller and Mason Goodwin were arrested without incident, transported to the Montgomery County Jail, and each booked on charges of murder.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
