Teen Arrested in Polk County After Stolen Vehicle Recovered

In the early morning hours of January 27, 2024, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen vehicle off of Tom Cummings Road.

Deputies and Detectives initiated an investigation into the incident and were able to locate and recover the vehicle that same afternoon.

Jonathon Forbus, 17, of Livingston, TX, was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was recovered and released back to the rightful owners. Forbus was booked into the Polk County Jail with a $10,000 bond and bonded out on January 28, 2024.
