Suspect of Aggravated Robbery at Wing Daddy’s Restaurant Found Shot Dead

In the early hours of Monday morning, October 2, 2023, El Paso Police officers responded to an aggravated robbery in progress at Wing Daddy’s Sauce House, located in the 11100 block of Sean Haggerty. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 24-year-old male, later identified as Ace Isaac De Santiago from Northeast El Paso, outside the rear of the business. De Santiago had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

According to preliminary reports, De Santiago had assaulted the business manager and stole money from Wing Daddy’s Sauce House at gunpoint, leading to the aggravated robbery case. The incident escalated when De Santiago attempted to flee the scene and was shot in the process.

Crimes Against Persons detectives have taken charge of the investigation to gather further details surrounding the incident.
