Six Arrested in Midland Aggravated Robbery Investigation Led by Texas Anti-Gang Center

MIDLAND, Texas — A multi-agency investigation into an aggravated robbery in Midland has resulted in the arrests of four adults and two juveniles, according to the Texas Anti-Gang Center-Permian Basin.
Investigators began working the case after an aggravated robbery was reported on June 5, 2026, in the 3400 block of South Highway 349.
Authorities said the investigation led to the execution of three search warrants and the identification of multiple suspects allegedly involved in the robbery.
18-year-old Mirris Ray, 19-year-old Elijah Sanchez and 18-year-old Ti Howard were each arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
21-year-old Andrae Mitchell was arrested on charges of Theft of a Firearm, Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, Aggravated Robbery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
All four adult suspects were booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center.
Investigators also arrested two 16-year-old juveniles on charges of Aggravated Robbery and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. The juveniles were processed at the Barbara Culver Juvenile Detention Center.
The Texas Anti-Gang Center-Permian Basin said the case was the result of coordinated efforts among local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
The task force includes personnel from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, Ector County Sheriff’s Office, Midland Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Midland County District Attorney’s Office, FBI, Homeland Security Investigations and the DEA/HIDTA program.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the robbery or whether additional arrests are expected.
The investigation remains ongoing.
