Houston Police Seek Person of Interest in Fatal Cullen Boulevard Stabbing

HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are asking for the public’s help locating a man they want to question in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 44-year-old man found dead inside an apartment last month.
The Houston Police Department has identified 35-year-old Larry Dennis as a person of interest in the investigation into the death of Marcus Magee. Authorities emphasized that Dennis has not been charged with a crime and is currently wanted only for questioning.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Garcia and G. Herrera, patrol officers responded to a welfare check at an apartment complex in the 10010 block of Cullen Boulevard at approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 6.
When officers entered the apartment, they found Magee unresponsive and suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As the investigation progressed, detectives identified Dennis as a person of interest and believe he may have information relevant to the case.
Police have released a photograph of Dennis and are asking anyone who knows his whereabouts or has information about the investigation to come forward.
