Operation Lone Star: Texas Authorities Report Significant Success in Border Security Efforts
Governor Greg Abbott, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Texas National Guard, is actively collaborating on Operation Lone Star to enhance border security. The primary objectives include curbing the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas, as well as preventing, detecting, and interdicting transnational criminal activities between ports of entry.
