Body Recovered From Lake Pflugerville; Investigation Underway

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Authorities are investigating after an unidentified man’s body was discovered Friday morning in Lake Pflugerville.

According to the Pflugerville Police Department, officers responded at approximately 8:54 a.m. on June 19 after a family on the south side of the lake reported seeing what appeared to be a body partially submerged in the water.

When officers arrived, they confirmed the presence of a deceased individual near the lake’s pier.

Fire personnel entered the water and recovered the body, bringing the individual to shore.

The man was pronounced dead at 9:14 a.m.

Authorities have not yet identified the deceased, describing him only as an adult male.

Police said there is no threat to the public at this time.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. Additional details, including the man’s identity and cause of death, have not been released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
