Fatal Shooting Claims Life of 15-Year-Old, Injures Another in Central Northwest Houston
Houston Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Friday, December 1, at 4200 Sherwood Lane in Central Northwest Houston.
Around 2 a.m., HPD patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting at the specified address. Upon arrival, they discovered a juvenile male, 15, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and sadly pronounced the juvenile deceased.
Additionally, a second male, aged 17, was found at the location with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital via private vehicle and is expected to survive his injuries.
The identity of the deceased 15-year-old male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
At this time, the motive for the shooting has not been determined.
