Woman Struck and Killed on Gregg Street in Greater Fifth Ward Hit-and-Run
Houston police are currently investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred at 1400 Gregg Street in Greater Fifth Ward at approximately 5:55 p.m. on Sunday, December 3.
The victim, a 53-year-old female, was struck by a white sedan of unknown make and model while crossing Gregg Street. The incident took place outside of a crosswalk, and the vehicle involved fled the scene without stopping to provide assistance.
The identity of the deceased woman is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
