Beaumont Police Searching for Suspect After Morning Stabbing at Valero Gas Station

Beaumont, TX — Beaumont police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed Wednesday morning near a gas station along Interstate 10.

Officers with the Beaumont Police Department responded around 7:52 a.m. on March 11, 2026, to a report of a stabbing at the Valero Gas Station located at 1050 IH-10 South.

When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a stab wound. Authorities said the victim later made his way to a nearby hotel, where Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported him to a local hospital. He was reported to be in stable condition.

Officers began searching the area for the suspect, who was described as a Black male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a small afro hairstyle. The suspect was reportedly wearing a navy blue shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

During the search, officers briefly located the suspect, but he fled the area on foot and was able to evade capture.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue searching for the suspect.
