Man Found Dead After Late-Night Shooting At Beaumont Apartment Complex

BEAUMONT, Texas – Officers with the Beaumont Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Tuesday night at an apartment complex on Magnolia Street.
On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at approximately 9:48 p.m., Beaumont police were dispatched to the Pointe North Apartments, located at 3710 Magnolia Street, after receiving reports of multiple gunshots in the area. Before officers arrived, dispatchers advised that a person was reported to be lying near the roadway.
When officers reached the scene, they located an unresponsive adult male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Beaumont EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division responded and began processing the scene. The Justice of the Peace was also notified.
The investigation remains active, and detectives are continuing to work leads to identify and locate the person or persons responsible.
