Beaumont Man in Critical Condition After Shooting at Market Ace; Police Seek Witnesses

Beaumont, TX – On Monday, December 8, 2025, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Beaumont patrol officers responded to the Market Ace at 510 Florida Avenue after reports of a male subject covered in blood.

Upon arrival, officers found a black male sitting in a black Chevrolet Malibu with apparent major injuries. He was transported by Beaumont EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries, including a suspected gunshot wound, the victim was later transferred to a medical facility in Houston for further care.

Preliminary information indicates the victim was in the area of the 4900 block of Wyatt Street around 9:30 p.m. Officers have not yet been able to interview the victim.
