Woman Dead in Westbury Area Fatal Crash

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the Westbury area early morning on February 5, 2024. The incident took place at approximately 2:10 a.m. at 10800 South Post Oak Road (near Walgreens).

The victim, a 29-year-old woman, lost her life in the crash. However, her identity is still pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Reports indicate that a white Nissan Kicks was traveling southbound at the mentioned address when the vehicle veered into the median and collided with a tree.

Emergency services, including Houston Fire Department paramedics, responded to the scene. The driver was then rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her deceased.

Authorities have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
