Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Gang Member Captured After Austin Pursuit

AUSTIN, Texas – A documented gang member who had been featured on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list is back in custody following a vehicle pursuit in Austin.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 32-year-old Devonshae Aikeis Fisher was arrested on May 21 near MoPac Expressway and 45th Street in Austin.
Authorities identified Fisher as a documented member of the Bloods street gang.
The arrest followed a brief pursuit after Fisher allegedly refused to stop for officers with the Austin Police Department and troopers with the Texas Highway Patrol who attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
The investigation involved members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force, including a DPS Criminal Investigations Division special agent and a deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
Fisher had been wanted since July 2024 for allegedly violating parole related to a prior conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
In addition, authorities said warrants were issued for Fisher in March 2025 in McClain County for bail jumping and failure to appear on charges related to acquiring proceeds from drug activity.
Court records show Fisher has previous felony convictions. In 2012, he was convicted in federal court of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and sentenced to 30 months in prison. In 2021, he was convicted in Bexar County of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and sentenced to five years in prison. He was released on parole in April 2023.
Officials noted that no Texas Crime Stoppers reward will be paid in connection with Fisher’s arrest.
