Two teenagers were arrested following a high-speed pursuit that began in Rosenberg and ended in Wallis, Texas. The incident started when Rosenberg police officers responded to reports of possible vehicle burglaries in progress near Avenue B and 2nd Street late last night.

Upon arrival, an officer located a suspicious vehicle occupied by four individuals. While speaking to the driver, the officer detected the odor of narcotics and observed what appeared to be an AR-style pistol inside the vehicle. When the officer attempted further investigation, the driver fled, initiating a pursuit that reached speeds of 130 mph.

The chase continued into Wallis before the vehicle eventually came to a stop. All four occupants were detained without further incident. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana residue, a scale, and THC products. The AR-style pistol and another firearm inside the vehicle were later determined to be BB guns.

The Rosenberg Police Department confirmed that two of the individuals were arrested, while the investigation remains ongoing.
