Northwest Houston Chase: Constable Deputies Apprehend Suspect Wanted on Multiple Warrants

On February 3, 2024, Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 28900 block of The Northwest Freeway in northwest Houston.

Upon arrival, deputies located the individual walking on the roadway, who then attempted to evade law enforcement by fleeing on foot.

Constable Deputies pursued the suspect and quickly caught up with him. After tackling him to the ground, the Deputy apprehended him.

The individual was identified as 42-year-old Vann Bubberstein, who was found to have open warrants in Harris County for Fail to ID Fugitive and Terroristic Threat Against a Peace Officer.

Bubberstein was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of the existing warrants and Evading Arrest.
