McAllen Police Officers Seek Public’s Help in Robbery Investigation

McAllen Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred on December 16, 2023, at approximately 10:52 PM in the 2800 block of Nolana Ave.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, standing about 5′ 7″ tall and weighing around 180 pounds, arrived at the location in a red passenger vehicle. Upon entering the store, the suspect stole merchandise. When the store clerk attempted to detain the suspect, an assault ensued, and the suspect fled the area.

McAllen Police Department is collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies to resolve the case and apprehend the individuals involved. Authorities have released an image of the suspect captured on surveillance camera, urging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to contact McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-8477.

The McAllen Crime Stoppers hotline offers a cash reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Individuals can also provide anonymous tips through the smartphone app “P3 Tips.” The community’s cooperation is crucial in aiding law enforcement efforts to bring those responsible for the robbery to justice.
