League City Police Arrest Suspected ‘Juggers’ After Bank Targeting Incident

League City Police Officers have apprehended two suspected “juggers” following an incident at a Bank of America in League City. Jugging, a criminal act involving targeting bank customers for theft, led to the arrests of Tevon Solomon, 29, and Raffitt Odom, 35, both from Houston and documented gang members.

On March 1, 2024, officers responded to a report from the Flock Safety System regarding a suspicious vehicle, a black Toyota Rav4 with Maryland license plates, near W FM 646 and S Gulf Fwy. The vehicle was associated with a previous vehicle burglary reported by UTMB Police. Detectives surveilled the Toyota parked in the Bank of America lot, noting its dark tinted windows, unusual for rental vehicles.

The surveillance revealed the Toyota following a bank customer leaving the lot. Detectives observed suspicious behavior, prompting them to call for patrol officers. Solomon and Odom were stopped and found with items suggestive of criminal activity, including binoculars, gloves, ski masks, duct tape, and a window punch.

Both suspects were charged with Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument, with bond set at $250,000 each. League City Police urge citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
