Houston Police Seek Robbery Suspect Wanted in Gas Station Assault

HOUSTON, Texas — The Houston Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred at a north Houston gas station.
According to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the incident happened at approximately 1:15 a.m. on May 25 at a gas station in the 7800 block of Jensen Drive.
Investigators said the store clerk observed a customer, later identified as 28-year-old Christopher Bishop, allegedly conceal merchandise inside his pants. When the clerk confronted him, an altercation ensued.
Police said the suspect then left the store, got into a vehicle, and fled the scene.
A follow-up investigation by a Houston Police robbery detective identified Bishop as a suspect. On July 7, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge, and an arrest warrant was issued.
Bishop is wanted on a charge of Robbery Causing Bodily Injury. As of July 8, he had not been located and remains wanted.
