Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force Executes Successful Operation Against Drug Distribution Network in Alvin
In a coordinated effort, the Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force (BCNTF), supported by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Alvin Police Department, executed a search warrant on January 19, 2024, in Alvin, Texas. The operation, the result of a two-month-long investigation, aimed to curb the distribution of dangerous drugs within the community.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) secured the residence, leading to the apprehension of suspects Lance Ruel Setliff, Angela Marie Hatley, and Michael Davis. A search of the premises revealed a substantial quantity of narcotics, resulting in the seizure of illicit substances and a firearm.
The suspects are now facing a range of charges, including Manufacture/Delivery of controlled substances and Felon in Possession of a firearm. The confiscated narcotics include Methamphetamine (1050.00 grams), Marijuana (28.17 Ounces), THC Wax (931 grams), LSD (435 tabs), Cocaine (12.8 grams), Psilocybin mushrooms (399.2 grams), Adderall (1.4 grams), Xanax (8.6 grams), Tramadol (21.8 grams), Hydrocodone (12.3 grams), and Ecstasy (MDMA) (20.3 grams). The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $11,000.
This successful operation highlights the commitment of the BCNTF, DPS, and the Alvin Police Department to remove dangerous drugs and distributors from Brazoria County. The diligent efforts of law enforcement agencies have disrupted illicit drug networks, preventing further harm to the community.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
