Austin Police Seeks Public Assistance in Identifying Suspects Involved in 7-Eleven Robbery by Assault

The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a Robbery by Assault at the 7-Eleven on 6306 Menchaca Road. The incident occurred on November 19 at around 5:33 p.m.

Preliminary findings suggest that suspect #1 entered the store, pilfering merchandise while suspect #2 waited outside. A female clerk confronted suspect #1 as he tried to exit with stolen items. The suspect physically assaulted the woman before fleeing on foot with the second suspect.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male in his early 20s, standing between 5’ 4” and 5’ 5” with a medium build, long and curly hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket and a light-colored undershirt.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male aged 20 to 30, standing between 5’ 8” and 6’ 0” with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt over a red long-sleeve shirt, with a bright-colored hoodie under the black shirt.
