The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the arrest of Anderson Ronaldo Reyes Giron, a fugitive featured on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. The 25-year-old Honduran national was apprehended in north central Austin on Tuesday, April 2, 2025.

DPS Special Agents and Texas Highway Patrol Troopers, in collaboration with the Austin Police Department North Metro Tactical Unit Officers, took Reyes Giron into custody outside a game room. He had been wanted out of Travis County since February 2025 for deadly conduct (discharging a firearm) and also had an outstanding warrant from Williamson County for theft of property since March 2025.

According to DPS, Reyes Giron had a previous encounter with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Texas in January 2017, resulting in his arrest for alien removal. He was also arrested by the Austin Police Department in August 2024 for deadly conduct (discharging a firearm) but was subsequently released on bond.

The arrest of Reyes Giron was not the result of a Crime Stoppers tip, and therefore no reward will be paid.
