Cedar Park Man Arrested After Downtown Round Rock Stabbing

ROUND ROCK, Texas — A Cedar Park man has been arrested following a stabbing that left another person hospitalized in downtown Round Rock, according to the Round Rock Police Department.

The incident occurred on June 11, 2026, near the 100 block of West Main Street.

Investigators determined the stabbing stemmed from a verbal altercation between two individuals that escalated into violence.

Round Rock police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene and immediately began lifesaving measures for the victim.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Skyler Andrew Stewart of Cedar Park.

According to investigators, Stewart fled the area following the stabbing.

Through investigative efforts, officers later located Stewart at his residence in Cedar Park, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Stewart was booked into the Williamson County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The investigation remains ongoing.
