Montgomery County Deputy Fired, Faces Criminal Charges Following Investigation

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A Montgomery County Precinct 3 deputy has been terminated and is facing criminal charges following an investigation into the alleged misuse of law enforcement databases.
According to the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, officials received a complaint on April 19, 2026, containing multiple allegations against 32-year-old Deputy Louis Norman.
After reviewing the complaint, the constable’s office immediately placed Norman on administrative leave and referred the matter to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Public Integrity Division. The complaint was also provided for independent review.
To ensure transparency, the investigation was assigned to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 29, the constable’s office was notified that Norman would face criminal charges related to the alleged misuse of and violations involving law enforcement databases maintained by the Texas Crime Information Center and the National Crime Information Center.
Officials stated that the Precinct 3 Constable’s Office fully cooperated with both the sheriff’s office and the district attorney’s office throughout the investigation.
Norman’s employment with the agency was terminated effective May 29, 2026.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the specific allegations or charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
