21-year-old Woman Arrested in El Paso Shooting Outside Bar
Early Saturday morning, February 3rd, El Paso police were called to Mi Bar Cantina on N. Zaragoza due to a shooting incident.
The victim, a 30-year-old woman, was found with serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Detectives handling Crimes Against Persons took charge of the investigation. Initial findings suggest that during a verbal argument in the parking lot between the victim and her spouse, 21-year-old Kaory Ramos intervened from a vehicle, brandishing a handgun and firing multiple shots at the victim.
Ramos fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. However, following leads, police located Ramos at a residence in far east El Paso, where SWAT assisted in her arrest. She now faces charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and is being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond.
