Wanted Suspect Identified in Emancipation Avenue Shooting on September 24th

Charges have been officially filed against the suspect involved in the shooting incident that occurred at 4709 Emancipation Avenue late on September 24. The suspect, identified as Larice E. Evans, 47, is facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault against a public servant in the 262nd State District Court.
The victims of the shooting, two men aged 56 and 34, and a 23-year-old woman, are anticipated to recover from their injuries.
Responding to a panic alarm call at a business on Emancipation Avenue, Houston Police Department officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds requiring immediate medical attention. Both victims were swiftly transported to local hospitals, where one was listed in critical condition, and the other remained stable.
Another gunshot wound victim, transported to the hospital by a private vehicle, was identified as being shot at the same location and was listed in stable condition.
In the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect also fired shots at a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy who was on extra employment duty at the business. The suspect fled the scene in an unidentified dark-colored vehicle.
The suspect, Larice E. Evans, was identified through further investigative efforts and officially charged on November 25. However, as of now, Evans remains at large and has not been located by law enforcement.
