Tomball Man Arrested in The Woodlands in Sting Operation for Arranging Sexual Meeting with Juvenile for Money

On April 3, 2024, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s Detectives initiated a proactive investigation on a male suspect who was accused of having sexual relations with a juvenile in exchange for money. The investigation also revealed that the suspect was meeting with the juvenile in The Woodlands area.

Constable Detectives posed as the victim online, where the suspect made arrangements with the undercover agent to meet at a location to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division and Deputies with Crime Interdiction Unit waited for the suspect at the agreed location where he was taken into custody. The suspect was identified as 44-year-old Joshua Houston of Tomball, Texas.

During the interview with Detectives, Houston admitted to having sexual relations with the victim.

Houston was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and Solicitation of Prostitution. His bond has been set at $105,000.
