Three Teens Arrested After Vehicle Break-In Atascocita, Face Multiple Charges
On December 1, 2023, around 3:53 am, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to reports of a vehicle break-in in the 3200 block of Trinity Joe Lane.
The suspects, three unknown males at the time, were observed leaving the scene in an Uber. A subsequent traffic stop led to the identification of the suspects as 17-year-old Cameron Levels, 17-year-old Erick Escobar, and 17-year-old Steven Couthen.
During the stop, authorities discovered that the individuals were in possession of a weapon and stolen property. As a result, all three suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail.
Steven Couthen and Cameron Levels face charges of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, while Erick Escobar is charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Fraudulent Possession of Credit/Debit Card.
As of now, details regarding their bonds and court appearances have not been disclosed.
