Shooting Incident Leaves Two Dead and One Injured in Alvin

At approximately 8:00 PM on January 17, 2024, the Alvin Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a break-in and shooting at a residence in the 700 block of Steele Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased males and one male with an apparent gunshot injury. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the injured male to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The investigation is currently in its early stages, with law enforcement actively working to identify the victims and any other individuals involved. Additionally, authorities are diligently working to establish a motive for the shooting.

Police are on the lookout for at least four persons who fled the scene and are believed to be connected to the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
