Polk County Woman Arrested and Charged with Two Counts of Burglary of a Habitation

On Friday, January 19th, 2024, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of two burglaries in the 8000 block of State Highway 146 South. The suspect was captured on a video doorbell camera at one of the affected residences. Subsequently, a local resident reported a suspicious person matching the suspect’s description on their property.

The identified individual, Kelly Sexton, 31, of Onalaska, TX, was located and found to have an active warrant from the Onalaska Police Department. Sexton was arrested on the warrant, and during the arrest, deputies discovered several items on her person that belonged to both burglary victims.

Kelly Sexton now faces charges of (2) counts of Burglary of a Habitation (2nd degree felony).
