Juvenile Charged with Burglary of Motor Vehicle in Harris County Incident

In the early hours of December 19, 2023, Harris County Precinct 2 Southbelt Contract units responded to an in-progress call in the 11400 block of Sagecreek Drive in Harris County, Texas. The call reported an individual being stopped by a complainant for allegedly entering and retrieving a bike from one of the complainant’s vehicles.

Deputies swiftly arrived at the scene, where they found the complainant and detained the individual in question. The complainant provided security camera footage capturing the incident. The individual, identified as a juvenile, was taken into custody.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was notified of the situation, and the juvenile was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. Subsequently, the juvenile was released to a parent.
