A Humble man has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for the murder of a 22-year-old man in November 2020, according to an announcement by Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg on Friday, September 22, 2023.

Siten Anney, 20, was convicted of murder after a four-day trial for the shooting death of 22-year-old Trevor Alan Harrison, which occurred on November 23, 2020. Anney and Harrison were known to each other, and Anney mistakenly believed that Harrison was involved in the killing of a friend earlier in the year.

Anney had gone to great lengths to lure Harrison to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Atascocita Road in Humble, where Harrison was fatally shot in the parking lot with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Following the shooting, Anney fled from the scene, and incredibly, just 21 minutes later, he put the murder weapon up for sale online.

Upon hearing the news of the fatal shooting, Anney took a screenshot of an article about it and sent it to his friends, claiming that he had stayed up all night to see it.

Investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office examined the messages that the victim had received before his death and were able to identify Anney as the perpetrator.

Assistant District Attorney Maroun Koutani handled the prosecution of the case.
