Houston Man Dead After Loosing Control of Motorcycle on Allen Parkway

ouston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred in the 3300 block of Allen Parkway about 1:20 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased male, 23, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to the investigation, the male was operating a red Yamaha XSR motorcycle eastbound on Allen Parkway when he lost control of the bike and struck the median. He then struck the fence, dropped the motorcycle and fell a short distance away. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.

The investigation is continuing.
