Fatal Crash in Austin Leaves One Dead
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, at around 1:40 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to a collision involving a pick-up truck and a sedan in the 3600 block of S IH 35 SB near St. Edwards.
The driver of the sedan was struck outside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up truck was unharmed and stayed at the scene, fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
