Deputies Subdue Suspect With Taser in Northwest Harris County Incident
On January 5, 2024, Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to reports of a suspicious male in the 11700 block of Glade River Lane. The individual was reportedly knocking on neighbors’ doors and peering into parked vehicles.
Upon arrival, deputies located the male, identified as 20-year-old Brandon Nguyen, who promptly attempted to evade on foot. Despite verbal commands from Constable Deputies, Nguyen resisted and engaged in physical altercations by kicking and pushing deputies.
After a brief struggle, a deputy deployed a department-issued taser to subdue Nguyen. Following his apprehension, Nguyen was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Evading Arrest and Resisting Arrest. The bond for his release has been set at $200.00 by County Court 3.
