On January 14, 2024, deputies from Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office were dispatched to the 3800 block of Coltwood Drive, Spring, TX, in response to a reported weapons disturbance. The complainant, 31-year-old Carlos Gil-Vidoza, alleged that he had been assaulted by a known male suspect.

Upon arrival, Constable Deputies conducted an investigation and discovered discrepancies in Gil-Vidoza’s account. Contrary to his description, the alleged suspect turned out to be a 70-year-old male who faced physical challenges, including difficulty walking.
