Suspect Arrested for Telephone Harassment and Open Warrants in Harris County

On January 13, 2024, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 24000 block of Breckenridge Forest Drive.

Upon arrival, the suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Further investigation revealed that the individual, identified as 46-year-old Bernard Lane, had open warrants in Harris County. The warrants, filed earlier that day, included charges for Assault with previous convictions ($20,000.00) and Violation of a Protective Order ($10,000.00).

Bernard Lane was arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He is now facing additional charges for Evading Arrest with previous convictions, and his bond has been set at $10,000.00 by the 248th District Court.
